Olive pits next in line for ethanol subsidies

this is perhaps the first form of biofuel i'd support, as the researchers point out the pits are otherwise useless. turning food (corn, for example) into fuel though is a horrible idea. it drives up food prices and stinks of selfishness, considering food shortages across the globe. not to mention biofuels are typically less efficient than gasoline.

instead, we should attach giant windmills to the roofs of our cars. or ride hoverboards.

word - olive technology has saved mankind again

I'd love to see the new administration start an initiative to force the US auto industry into putting the electric car back on the market. That would creat domestic jobs and improve our energy policy by extension. let's hope the senate majority is overwhelming enough to make some of this shit happen!
